- Participants and attendees are spending extensive periods of time physically close to large numbers of people they don't usually interact with thereby increasing the risk that respiratory particles will be transmitted between attendees and participants.
- They draw from beyond the nearby community and will often draw attendees and participants from other states and countries who may be infected with more infectious COVID variants.
- Effective contact tracing may be difficult given the number of potential uncontrolled mixing between groups and attendees among individuals who are unlikely to be together again and the nature of the events. NCECA encourages all attendees to sign up for CA Notify as an added layer of protection for themselves and the community to receive alerts when they have been in close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19.
- They are fully vaccinated; or
- They have received the results of a negative Covid-19 test within 1 day for an antigen test and 2 days for a PCR test upon arrival at the conference.

- Other state-approved record if approved in advance by NCECA.
- You acknowledge that there are known and unknown health risks associated with Covid-19, as well as other sources of risk at public events. While NCECA makes every effort to comply with applicable health and safety measures, we cannot eliminate all risks.
- You have received, and agree to comply with, NCECA’s Conference Guidelines.
- You will not attend the conference in person if you or any member of your household or in-person work team has tested positive for Covid-19 or has experienced symptoms associated with Covid-19 at any time during the two weeks prior to the conference. Covid-19 symptoms may include fever, fatigue, breathing difficulties, dry cough, loss of smell or taste, and others.
- NCECA, at its sole discretion reserves the right to refuse or revoke access to the conference for any lawful reason, including refusal to comply with health-related directives or disruptive behavior.
- NCECA may provide you with access to the conference via the Internet. If you choose to access the conference online, you will be responsible for obtaining all equipment and resources needed to access the conference’s web presence in a reliable and secure manner.
- You hereby release NCECA (including its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers) from all claims arising from or related to the conference, except only those which, by California law, may not be waived in advance by contract.
- Registering for this conference signifies acceptance of the Admittance Requirements and of these terms.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (for indoor events over 1,000 California requirements and recommendations for events to reduce COVID-19 transmission) ● OR received a negative Covid-19 test within 1 day for an antigen test and 2 days for a PCR test upon arrival at the conference.
- Attendees should upload vaccination information and ID to CLEAR app or similar online system to be confirmed by NCECA for faster processing.
- Masks when indoors (other than when presenting or eating).
- Daily health screening
- Attendees will check in daily and answer health questions to receive a daily wristband prior to entering event spaces.
- Wear a mask onsite throughout the venue when not actively eating, drinking, or presenting.
- Observe signage throughout venue that advises on required health and safety protocol and attendee behavior expectations
- Observe any and all pathways and seating arrangements designated to ensure physical distancing.
- Colored wristbands will be available to represent attendee to attendee interaction level of comfort.
- Attendees will be required to accept Code of Conduct to ensure the event measures are followed. (Code of Conduct presented prior to travel and onsite)
- Screens / computers / printers will be set up at the registration desk to allow for contact-less badge printouts with sanitizer to use after coming into contact with the screen.
- Personal protection gear and hand sanitizer will be available.
- Sanitizing all shared equipment and meeting amenities before and after each use This includes wiping down podiums, microphones, and PowerPoint clickers between all speakers.
- Information provided for COVID-19 testing locations nearby if needed.
