NCECA maintains open interaction with other arts and educational
organizations, private foundations, and federal and state agencies.
These outreach efforts have included symposia, exhibition support
at the national and international museums, and the establishment
of NCECA collections at the NCECA home office and the Mint Museum
of Art.

Research and Visual Resources
NCECA Archives
NCECA is committed to keeping the history of the organization and
its impact on the ceramics field alive. The archives are cared
for by the Scholes Library, New York State College of Ceramics
at Alfred University and are available to researchers.
The Mint Museum of Art NCECA Collection
Established in 1999 and housed at the Mint Museum in Charlotte,
NC, this collection of works by American contemporary artists augments
the museum’s extensive ceramic collection. Sample the array
of works made from earthenware, stoneware and porcelain that stretch
across three centuries, multiple countries and a number of ceramic
traditions and techniques.
The NCECA Clay National Collection
This collection was established by the Board in 1999 and consists
of works selected for purchase by the Clay National Exhibition
jurors. It is displayed at the NCECA Office in Erie, Colorado.
