In an effort to send out more frequent, timely information to our members and reduce printing and postage costs, the NCECA Communications Committee has chosen to send monthly electronic newsletters.  NCECA E-News will be sent regularly as a vehicle for dialogue, forum for professional interaction, and a source of information important to the advancement, enlightenment, and enjoyment of the members. It provides information and a calendar of upcoming NCECA events important to all NCECA members.

NCECA has committed to producing a print Newsletter, as part of the new NCECA Member benefits. Our most recent issue was included in the Pittsburgh conference totebag, along with the Program Guide and Exhibition Guide; that first issue of 2008 introduced the NCECA Newsletter in the basic format we will continue to produce: 8.5x11 page size, one-color, printed on high-quality recycled stock. Additionally, the Newsletter is committed to supporting NCECA’s Ceramic Art Criticism initiative; that is, real substantial and relevant content, written by some of the world’s leading ceramic educators, art critics and art historians. This will be an ongoing initiative, intended to support and energize critical discussion, new website forums, blog & chat sites, future publications and, ultimately, future events or symposiums focusing-on or featuring Ceramic Art Criticism. Of course, the Newsletter will also offer announcements, studio tips, articles and updates, along with NCECA contact information.
